The Center of Excellence in Flow Chemistry (FlowCenter) is a competence center founded by the Flow Chemistry Society (FCS) registered in Switzerland.

It is one of the first institutions in Europe which is dedicated to the laboratory application and training of flow technologies in chemistry, nanotechnology and in biologics.

The mission is to accelerate the innovation and stimulate the development of flow chemistry for the benefit and progress of the chemistry community through organizing training programs to the industrial partners and universities (graduate students in the field of chemistry and engineering, from B.Sc. to Ph.D and postdoc), organizing laboratory demonstrations, introducing the technology, providing facilities for advanced studies related to the flow technologies. The FlowCenter accommodates academic visitors from industry and other institutions to stimulate scholarly interaction in an interdisciplinary and international setting.

The FlowCenter serves also as an asylum that provides excellent atmosphere for in-depth thinking and professional facility for teams to carry out research which would otherwise be not or hardly feasible in industrial conditions. The FlowCenter with its state of the art equipments ensures that researchers will be able to explore their field.

The FlowCenter also functions as an organizatory center for the Flow Chemistry Society, which hosts small meetings and scientific symposiums, and the office for the Journal of Flow Chemistry.

The FlowCenter is located in the heart of Europe, directly on the river Danube in the Graphisoft Park, Budapest, Hungary. The Graphisoft Park with its custom-made buildings and laboratories offers a high-quality, professional business and research environment.
